Canberra lockdown – update 15 September

Canberra COVID-19 case numbers

There have been 13 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the ACT to 8pm yesterday. 

Of these cases, 8 are linked to known cases or ongoing clusters, with 5 under investigation. 5 of the 13 cases were in quarantine during their infectious period, and 8 spent some time in the community during their infectious period.

There are 7 patients in ACT hospitals, including 1 receiving intensive care support requiring ventilation.

We have 292 active exposure locations listed. Please keep an eye on the website.

Canberra COVID-19 testing 

A total of 3,311 tests were collected across both ACT Government and Capital Pathology sites.

75 per cent of Canberrans have received 1 dose

Today we will reach the key milestone of 75 per cent of Canberrans aged 12+ receiving a first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.

This is a great achievement, thank you to everyone who has stepped forward for a jab.
