Member for Kurrajong
Rachel has lived in Canberra’s Inner North for most of her life. She grew up in O’Connor, she went to school at Turner Primary, Lyneham High and Dickson College and is proud to represent the people of inner Canberra as Member for Kurrajong.
Since graduating from ANU with an economics degree, Rachel worked as a policy adviser and senior executive in the Federal and ACT Governments and with non-government organisations. She was also a waitress and a diplomat, a horse riding coach and a Cabinet Minister's Chief of Staff.

She has been volunteering with local organisations since she was 17 and has run major equestrian events at Yarralumla. She also volunteered to help disadvantaged communities while living in Washington DC.
