Member for Yerrabi
Michael is a young Canberran who lives in Crace and was elected to the ACT Legislative Assembly to represent the Yerrabi electorate in October 2016. He grew up in Canberra, going to school at Campbell High and Dickson College. Michael then went on to complete a Bachelor of Arts at ANU, where he studied political science and mathematics.
Prior to being elected to the ACT Legislative Assembly, Michael worked as an Industrial Officer for the Construction and General Division of the Construction, Forestry, Mining and Energy Union. In this role, Michael helped local construction workers who had been underpaid by their employer. Prior to this, Michael was an elected official of the National Union Students, where he advocated for the welfare of students across Australia.
In the Legislative Assembly, Michael will advocate for better access to affordable housing and rights for young people in the workforce.
