CBR film takes homes silver at the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards
Last night at the Cannes Corporate Media and TV Awards, Screencraft, a Canberra based production company took home a Silver Dolphin for the production of the Brand Canberra film released in January 2015
The film took home silver in the Corporate Films and Videos – Integrated Communications: Films and videos as part of a larger communications campaign.
For Canberra to be internationally recognised by some of the best video producers, creative directors and script writers in the world is a huge achievement and puts Canberra in the spotlight as a hub of innovation and creativity.
The Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards annually honour the world’s finest corporate films, online media and TV documentaries, in one of the most important film centres: Cannes, France.
This year, over 772 entries were received from all over the world and were judged by an international jury. Previous winners include films produced for brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, Red Bull, Siemens, Castrol, Toyota, Deloitte, and Swarovski.
The Brand Canberra film was produced as a part of a broader digital campaign that aimed to set a strong, modern and bold tone for the city and to challenge the audience to look at Canberra in a new light, emphasising a sense of discovery and free spirit.
